Creek bank cleared with a forestry mulcher

Years of growth had turned this stretch along a creek into a wall of brush, briars and small trees. Hauling it all out by hand would have taken days and left the bank bare.

We brought in the Kubota excavator with the forestry mulching head and worked along the bank, grinding the growth into a layer of mulch right where it stood. The bigger trees worth keeping stayed, and the mulch layer helps hold the soil in place.
