Storm Damage · Goldsboro & Eastern NC

When a storm brings a tree down.

Eastern North Carolina gets its share of hurricanes, tropical storms and ice storms, and big pines and oaks don't always make it through. When a tree is on your house, your car or across the driveway, call us. We prioritize trees that are causing damage or blocking access.

What to do first

Stay away from any tree that's touching power lines, and call the power company straight away. Don't try to cut a tree that's under tension or resting on a structure; that's where most storm injuries happen. Take photos for your insurance company before anything is moved. Then call us.

How we handle it

We make the situation safe first: taking weight off the roof, clearing the driveway, and removing hanging limbs. Then we come back for the full cleanup. We use the bucket truck and loader to lift trees off structures in a controlled way instead of cutting them where they lie.

Insurance

Many homeowner policies cover removing a tree that has fallen on a covered structure. We can provide a written description of the work and photos for your claim. Check your own policy for what's covered.

What’s included

What affects the price

Every job is priced on site, for free. These are the things that move the number, so you know what we’re looking at when we walk your yard.

What the tree is on

Lifting a tree off a roof takes more rigging than clearing a yard.

Size and tension

Trees under load have to be released slowly and carefully.

Access after the storm

Debris, flooding and soft ground can slow the work.
